Current Project

International: WASH Project in Bolivia

Our chapter is currently designing an elevated reservoir gravity-fed water distribution system to provide clean, reliable water access to a rural community of 30 households in Bolivia. This project will improve daily health, sanitation, and quality of life by ensuring that families have consistent access to safe water near their homes.

The system is being developed in collaboration with Engineers in Action, Colorado University Boulder, and University of British Columbia Okanagan. Our team of students will travel to Bolivia in Summer 2026 to implement the system and work directly with community members to ensure long-term sustainability and local ownership.

Local: Awning for Moscow Disability Action Center

Our chapter is also proud to be completing a local project in Moscow, Idaho: designing and constructing an awning over the main entrance of the Disability Action Center. This project improves accessibility and weather protection for visitors while giving our members hands-on experience with design, fabrication, and construction coordination.

We are grateful to our community partners who are making this possible:

Mundy’s Welding – fabricating the steel frame for the awning and supporting our team’s structural design.

BCM Builders – serving as our local contractor and providing guidance throughout the construction process.
